Yesterday, in an attempt to build up enthusiasm for cleaning up our family room, I played this family favorite as background music. They room was clean in no time and Seth and Sam were begging for more.
My camera ran out of memory but here is the general idea. Seth has mastered the sprinkler and the robot. Next project....running man. Sammy actually has some good moves but he appropriately shows his four year-old maturity level of hitting himself on the head and throwing his body onto furniture. Henry is learning the importance of "getting down" in our house.
White boys, indeed.

That is so funny. My nephew used to hit his head and fall down when he was 4 also. We clean up the living room the same way. But usually more girly music like Don't Go Breaking My Heart.
Just email me any summer recipe, main course, salad, dessert, drinks and your in.
Hi that comment was from me, not some strange man. I guess my husband was logged in.
So great...loved it! Seth definitely has it goin' on! I'm missing your boys...time for a visit:)
Way cute! Especially that little Henry bustin' a move.
Watch out ladies! Here come the Johnson boys!
So hitting your head and falling down is four? Because Jack still does it, maybe we need to seek help.
Get down Seth! That is going to drive the chicks crazy in a few years.
Loved it!
So this is what goes on at home while I'm slaving away!?!
Seth: I couldn't be more proud of your skills doing the robot. You truly are my son. Now, what is this air guitar???
Sammy: You got the groove thing going on.
Henry: You're never too young to start mastering some of the famous Johnson dance moves.
I better get home quick so I can teach you boys some new ones.
whatever it takes to get the room clean i am all for!!!! love it!
now lucy, which moves are the ones you taught them?
Fun, fun, fun. I wish I had that much fun cleaning.
Love those moves! I couldn't get the sound to work but it sure looked like a lot of fun!
WOW what great moves. Did you teach Seth how to do the sprinkler?
K- I must be old, I've never heard of the sprinkler. But Seth totally has it down!
Looks like a good time at your house~!
Nothing like a little groovin' to get you to the cleaning mode. So funny. We like the robot here too.
Play that funky music white boys!!
Your boys are destined for great things! I love reading about your life. I always read it but don't always comment--mostly because my computer is stupid and I can't always log in.
Thanks for sharing the link to your mom's blog. I enjoyed browsing through the pictures. It looks like they are having quite an adventure.
Tristan just started walking too. He was on my lap when I watched the video of Henry--I think Tristan thought he was watching himself!
I love your book list. I might have to try Twilight. Thanks for sharing all that. I just finished River Secrets--by Shannon Hale. Have you read her books? Goose Girl, Princess Academy, etc.
I'm trying to get out to Utah this summer. Maybe we can stop in for a visit--me and the kids anyway.
Oh I loved it!! Looks like they will not be afraid to dance at all the dances when they turn 14. My hubby only likes to slow dance and even then I have to beg him!!
Dude! Seth has got it goin' on!
