I am particularly sunny today. Do you want to know why?
Because Seth woke up with Henry and got him milk - giving me (in theory. I still woke up because that's what mom's do) an extra hour in bed. I'd say sleep but I've already explained the difference.
Because Pamela's Gluten-Free Pancake and Baking Mix tastes so close to normal pancake mix that I actually look forward to pancakes again.
Because I have already finished creating, printing AND folding the primary programs for tomorrow's Sacrament Meeting presentation. I have no idea why I normally procrastinate things like this until late Saturday night because this feeling of already being ready is invigorating! Of course, I still have to think of something to do for singing time.
Because Jay bought me a treadmill. O.K. It's not really mine, but he knew I wanted one. However, they are expensive and we aren't in buying-big-ticket-items mode so I've done a lot more wishing for than looking for. Jay, on the other hand, did a whole bunch of research and bought a way nicer treadmill than I ever would have done. The fact that he did this makes me giddy.
Because my hair straightened really well today.
Because it's 70 degrees and beautiful outside.
Because I am going on a date with my handsome husband, something we have not done in a long time, and I already have a babysitter.
Because, even though we are planning on seeing Eagle Eye, which does not have very good reviews, we'll still get popcorn and a jumbo drink to share, which tastes better than microwave popcorn and canned soda.
Let the peaceful, happy moments roll.

What a way to sign off, Lucy. I love the title/sign-off.
What a happy, happy day. Truly, everyone of those things are something to smile about.
Have fun on your date and do you do movie reviews? If you do, please let us know how it was.
So happy to hear the babysitter is for a official date night- woohoo!!! Love this post and that you are so sunny on such a sunny day. Totally agree with the movie not always being the point of the whole experience :)
What a sweet post. And way to go Seth! Both boys can now put Quincy to bed and all I have to do is promise a run to Sonic after school the next day. Older siblings are so cool!
Good luck in your big program tomorrow!
I totally sang the last line of this post. Your day does sound sunny. Good hair, great weather and a date out. Perfect.
Good for you. Have fun. And just think, tonight when my kids are in bed and I could be doing something I enjoy doing... I will be folding programs for our primary program tomorrow!
I love sunny days :)
We went on a date tonight to Eagle Eye too.
I am waiting for the day my oldest will be able to run in the library movies alone.
Hooray for the treadmill. I know you've wanted one for a while. I think Jay just scored some major points. Hope you had a good date.
So what did you think of the movie? We really wanted a thriller and were disappointed, but hey it was a date and that counts for 99% of the evening.

That all sounds great!! It's really the little things that make life good:)
Score on the fitness equipment. If you're anything like me, you'll love/hate that piece of furniture for the rest of your life.
this post made me more than smile...it made me giddy for you. It sounds like you are in a really really great place and I'm so glad you and Jay were able to get some alone time. Of course I'm super happy for you to finally get that treadmill. :)
What a great post. I love happy days!
That is so awesome! I love happy days like that. I need more details on your treadmill--so jealous. I caved and joined the gym. Can you believe it??
