My Solution For World Peace

This week's big Live Earth concert has me thinking about how our leaders try and solve problems. I just don't think a big world wide concert is the answer. Today, I conducted my own mini experiment to test a theory that has been building in my mind. It's much, much more simple (not to mention leotard free) than hiring Madonna to dance and flex her yoga-toned body on stage.

I think when you need a solution to a problem, and you need level heads, the best thing to do is this:

Feed the people.

I have noticed a trend this week among my own waring factions. Hungry boys are aggressive and mean to each other. Fill their tummies....mend their tempers.

I think the world must be hungry because it sure is cranky lately. I know a little food does wonders over here.

Pretty deep, huh?

That was deep!

Plus if we plump up the crazy world leaders, maybe we can kill them off faster! Who needs nukes when you have Paula Dean and butter?

I'm subscribing to the same theory as I just went to Costo today and bought every snack in the store in an attempt to keep us all happy.

Deep, deep thoughts.

Yeah, if only it were just a physical hunger! I think it's a spiritual hunger too.

But it is amazing what food can do!

My kids were just in the backyard fighting when I came outside and distracted them with cherry popsicles! It worked, all is well!

I completely agree. It was always easy for us to tell when our mom was on a diet - grouchy! However, she was as sweet as pie when she wasn't
