SPT - Lucky Charm

this week's challenge is to show us a lucky charm. perhaps it is a piece of jewelry? or a talisman you carry in your pocket? do you have something on your desk or in your home that brings you good fortune? is it a baseball hat or a smelly old t-shirt? did someone give it to you? why is it meaningful to you? will you tell us about a time when it brought you good luck?

I am really trying to participate in this whole SPT idea but last week had the whole itchy rash thing and this week's theme is hard! I'm not sentimental in any way about inanimate objects or superstitious! But there is one thing that is constantly with me that has brought me many "good things".

I wanted to take a picture of my ring with it in focus and me blurry in the background but I'm not talented enough to do it. I tried many, many times.

I've always loved my ring. Jay did good.

Probably not what Lelly had in mind but it's my constant reminder that I am blessed and loved by someone. And that is incredibly lucky.

Absolutely lucky! I haven't come up with any great lucky charm yet and have been considering a picture of my husband, blessed and loved by someone.

Love the ring!

I've been working on a draft for the post I'm planning for Chad's birthday. It's entitled "The Luckiest". I absolutely agree that the reminder of your marriage is the luckiest tangible thing many people own. Nice choice!

I think the ring is a great idea. You got some good pictures!

Your ring really is beautiful and somehow you had the style sense to know to get platinum. It was just coming out then and most of us brides-of-the-mid-to-late-nineties are sporting the oh-so-dated gold!

Very cool lucky charm. Afterall, isn't that what a wedding ring is? A constant reminder of the eternal nature of our vows?

I have always loved your ring, and I think that is a wonderful good luck charm! Hope Henry is feeling better, you look like yourself again, minus the red dots. How fun to see Kari and Russ, my dad has said they were back in Helena!

Way to go on your list! Spring break is the next two weeks so cleaning everything really good is top of my list! Take care
