Naughty and Nice

Yesterday, a few names were added to Santa's lists.

This is Henry, post tree tipping (Jay stood it back up before I got a picture), but pre Comet-cleaner dumping. He was very, very... NAUGHTY.

(thanks to Amy M.'s long and steady arms, we managed a ten person self-portrait. Impressed?)

These are the comely ladies who came to my house last night for Blogger Bookgroup. We had a delightful evening (does 1:00 am still count as evening?) with an abundance of good things to eat and talk about. The entire gathering was... NICE.

(from back to front and left to right)

Amy M., Chloe, Amie, Annalisa, Lori
me
(doing an odd not-quite football huddle on my very own row)
,
Ann, Amy, Hannah, Marjorie

That picture of Henry is SO priceless. So he pulled the tree over? Sadie has pulled our beads off a few times, too, but not quite to that extent.
Looks like a fun night with some good friends!

Oh dear, little Henry caused quite a mess. But he'll get lots of cute points which I'm sure will get him moved to Santa's nice column.

I think it's amazing that you have met all those ladies through blogging.

Henry is so busted! But adorable. Pulled it right over? Busted!

We had a comet plus vaseline experience with a two year old once. Not Nice!

Book group until 1 a.m. I think you can finally call your new place home!

Love the 10-person self-portrait. Oooh, and Henry is so cute. How can you get mad at that face?

Lucy.....LOVE your blog! Found you through Emily, one of my favourite writers! So have been reading you for a long time but haven't been writing. I am making a goal to try and write a few words on blogs I am reading because I think its important to get the feedback and know we are being heard.
What a great picture of Henry... I so often forget to grab my camera and then its too late. This reminds me of my friend Arlynne Larsen who when her son was little put her tree in their playpen! It was such a funny picture, but it worked. Keep blogging you.......love Kasandra from Kamloops, BC, Canada
We don't seem to have many bloggers in this neck of the woods, can't believe you have 10 that could get together....

Just think soon it will come to pass and you will miss the messes ala Henry. (I am just saying that out loud because my grandma always says that to me:)

Glad the blogger gathering was a success!

What a fun blog party:)

Yikes, I'm glad Henry wasn't hurt, the scallywag. I bet Santa will still bring him a gift.
It is fun to see bloggers together at a gathering that only geography keeps me away from.

How super fun!!! Even with the tree toppling incident (btdt, but not for a few years).

Did you get my e-mail? It kept bouncing back to me!

It was a great night! I find that sometimes the most mischief happens at my house on the days that I have something going that night that keeps me busy around the house all day. It's like they know we aren't watching...

Why must my comments not get saved when I write a lot?! Here is the cliff note version.

Thanks for hosting. It was very fun and nice to get a frame of reference for your world.

Henry is so cute. Mischief in other people's children is the best.

Oh, that picture of Henry makes me cringe. I am so not looking forward to dealing with toddlers again. Sigh.
Blogger bookgroup??? That sounds heavenly. Bookgroup in PA is SO bad.
