Love seeing those skiers. We start school this Thursday so we are bidding farewell to summer too.
It looks like you had a really fantastic summer. It's sad that it's over, but so much to look forward to next year, right?
Gosh, it'd be hard for anyone to say goodbye to all that fun. But, it's more the prospects of Middle School than anything that have me mourning summer's end. I'm not good at goodbye's.

this is such a fun summer wrap up! i fear mine would read something like this: farewell interminable carpool drive to camp; farewell play practice every night of the week; farewell cranky hotel guests...

Also, I was so sure you had reviewed the Guernsey Lit & Pot Peel Pie Society book that I popped in to view your review. I feel like I have nothing new to say about a book loads of people are talking about.
