Three Reasons

Counting the number of reasons why I love my parents would be like counting the stars - futile. But, here are three:

They share their love of geography with their grandchildren.

{my dad can take your dad in an atlas throwdown. Henry is learning from the master}

They bring their own sewing machine with them to do all my mending.

{I figure I can learn...someday. But, when this lovely lady is so able and willing, I'd rather have a job well done}

They watch three boys, including one who still pees on the carpet, so I can go watch Jay run 26.2 miles in downtown Baltimore on Saturday.

Hey...he does the posing. I just post them.

Thanks Mom and Dad! LOVE YOU!

In the words of Forrest Gump, "RUN JAY RUN."

I love your parents from afar. I have enjoyed reading and learning about them. "My dad can take your dad in an atlas throwdown"--now those are bragging rights! I love the picture with him and Henry.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure your dad could beat anyone in any kind of geography challenge. And I love it when the sewing machine comes to my house, too.

Good luck to Jay and I hope both of you have fun. I think it's great that you're going.

I've never met your parents, but they made you, so they have to be pretty great!

And good luck Jay. What a cool place to run a marathon; I love Baltimore!

Welcome Home, I'm guessing by now. Hope the race went great. Your parents coming to watch the kids probably made your get-away all the better because you could relax and know the boys were in good hands.
