Blessings:
- I am married to an incredible man who lives to make us happy and comfortable.
- We live in a land of plenty with freedom to attend things like wet and rainy football games.
- We enjoy our health and bodies that allow us to run races and chase after toddlers.
- My children are curious and independent and growing up to be fine people.
- I have an abundance of clothes that are clean.
- I have a large and spacious place to live in.
- I have information and support at the click of my mouse.
- I have access to countless books at free and public libraries.
- I have friends and family who love me despite my less than spectacular moments.
- I have faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves me.

I love Sundays. I love that we have been commanded to go to church and commune with our Father at least one day every week. Such clarity comes with that communication. I'm glad you've been edified.
I think I often look over my many "simple" blessings. Thanks for the reminder and sharing yours.
I need to sing that song more often in my life, I tend to count the blessings I see others being blessed with when I need to focus on mine! Thanks for sharing your list, I need to do one of those.
There is power in the hymns. I can't get enough of them. If only I could get my son to sing them in sacrament meeting . . .

I love the hymns. Sometimes I try to not pay attention to the words so I don't always have to end up in tears.
I haven't been to your blog in a couple of days (I can't blog when I only have one child home, too much guilt). I think it is refreshing that you can be so real about your feelings. I have only been to book club twice but feel like the mother hen. (I have a hard time feeling like I am "one of them.") I do hope that you will come again - the first date is over... I would never guess that you felt uncomfortable. I know it doesn't matter what someone else says when you know your true feelings. Anyway, just rambling. I am glad I have been able to meet you and hope we will have more "run-ins" before you move away.
I also told Jill that I didn't want to be the first one to leave. Maybe we are all more on the same page than we think?
I find that hymns comfort me and can answer my prayers. I hope you have a good year in Utah. I admire your efforts to be involved there, especially since you won't be living there long.
I love that hymn and often have it stuck in my head (I guess that's a good thing).
It's a good idea to make a list of your blessings every now and again, especially if you're having a not-so-blessed kind of day.
