In the last 24 hours...

Henry has:

  • dumped an orange cream flavored yoplait yogurt on the carpet (which he refused to eat earlier and it was left sitting on the table)
  • scribbled on my white dresser with a blue pen
  • splashed in a toilet that had yellow water (darn older brothers!)
  • grabbed a poopy diaper before I had rolled and velcroed it up and tossed it
  • woke up screaming at 2:30 am...just because
  • somehow got into the pantry and got into the #10 can of church storage dehydrated refried beans and scattered them EVERYwhere.
  • While I was cleaning up that mess, he dumped a can of Diet Dr. Pepper that I had left by the computer onto the computer chair.
  • unrolled an entire roll of toilet paper in the bathroom
  • smeared ketchup from lunch all over the table
  • got all of the bath toys out and distributed them all about the house
He's killing me. Good thing he is so....darn.....cute!

Oh wow....my sympathies. You're right--he is darling, though.

This sounds so oddly familiar. I posted three times about similar antics from Nathan. I hate to admit this but I am kind of glad to know that my kids aren't the only crazy ones!

I let out a little shriek when I read 'diet dr. pepper and computer' in the same sentance!!! So glad it was on the chair and not the computer! (of course if it was the computer I guess you wouldn't be able to blog about it). What a Day!

It's going on at our house too (on a minor scale). Mostly emptying garbage cans and eating whatever is inside. Gross. You have my sympathies.

Uh-oh. Your house is starting to sound like my house. Believe it or not we seem to be growing out of that phase but the damage lingers on.

I diagnose him as "perfectly normal"(and out to get you ;)).

Sounds like you've had a fun day! What a little rascal...he is cute, though!

He always has such mischevious "who me?" looks on his face. I can't get enough of the Henry Madness stories. He is too cute.

Any connection between finishing a 500 page book and Henry's antics?
Sure wish I were there to watch him. Seven more months!

Their looks are the only thing that save them at this age. I would have ripped Caleb's arms off except for those gorgeous blue eyes and killer smile.

So cute little boy !
I am happy to see that I am not the only mother that her kids drive her crazy...but we love them so much !

I frequently say the same thing about Natalie. Actually, it usually sounds something like, "If she wasn't so darn cute, I'd kick her right out the front door!"

Sorry about all the mishaps but you're right, he's really is cute!

Oh my Lucy! I hate days like that. You are so right--it's a good thing he's cute. I am afraid Weston and him would be a combination of destruction together:)

He is SO cute! Mya hasn't been as destructive since the first month of Kaylee's arrival, but those days are still burned into my brain. I keep telling myself that Kaylee won't do this because she won't have a little sibling to rebel against like Mya did...

I am convinced that cuteness is the only thing that keeps kids alive..lol

MOM! Me....neglect my kids for reading????

O.K...so the yogurt was definitely a result of me reading. And the toilet paper. But the rest of it is just his little mischievous personality. I have one of THOSE kids now.:)

I don't miss those messes, but I do miss the cuteness.

He is pretty darn cute! And what would you possibly be doing with your life if you weren't cleaning up after Henry? Spare time is overrated!
